The body of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev has been buried in an undisclosed location outside Massachusetts.
Police said in a statement Thursday, “a courageous and compassionate individual came forward” to bury the body.
The Ohio plot donor wished to stay anonymous but said his Christian faith is behind his decision.
“It’s time to show some Christian concern for his family,” the donor said. “The acts that were carried out in Boston were heinous. I have prayed for the victims. I have prayed for the families of those who have lost loved ones and I will continue to do that, but it’s still the right thing to do to have this man interred somewhere.”
The cemetery owner said he was against the idea, but there are no rules or regulations that allow him to stop someone from donating their plot.
