Entrepreneur”African Queen” laid to rest

The final rites of Mrs Elizabeth Nyarko “African Queen” a prominent Ghanaian entrepreneur in New York, who passed away on December 16 2016 with cardiac arrest at the age of 66.
An entrepreneur, a manufacturer of collection of skin care products, passed away in her home.
Her remains was laid in state at McCall Funeral Home in the Bronx for the community to pay their last respects. A memorial service followed at St. Michaels Church at 225 W 99th Street in Manhattan.
That very evening the final funeral rite followed at Gauchos in the Bronx. A host of community Leaders, Traditional Rulers, the clergy, distinguished personalities and Crowd of mourners wearing traditional black and red cloth came to pay their last respects to the renowned Ghanaian Entrepreneur Mrs Elizabeth Nyarko who owns stores in Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens.
Let us take a look at the illustrious life of Mrs. Elizabeth Nyarko, who made an indelible mark in the African business community. She was married to Mr. Edward Nyarko popularly known as” Mr. Tee”

Mrs. Elizabeth Nyarko bids farewell, leaving an indelible mark in the hearts and minds of an entire Ghanaian Community as a true people’s “African Queen” who led an exemplary life.
She loved fashion and he was always smart and beautiful. She was respected and revered by many who knew her. May her soul Rest in Peace
