The Christian Journal, Bronx NY – On July 5 2014, Inner Court Sanctuary held its special early Morning Prayer meeting starting at 4:30 am dubbed Special Mizpah hour. Starting the day with prayer was always important to the early Christians and their prayers often invoked the presence of the Trinity.
The benefits are tremendous to ones spiritual life. When consistently done there’s just nothing quite like getting up early and praying before anything else is done.
The theme for this meeting was show me your glory and indeed God did show his glory through four powerful men of God namely Rev. Benjamin Boakye of Ebenezer Assembly of God, Pastor Tim Gordon of Total Redemption Ministries , Joshua Porter of Reinhard Bonke Crusades and Mark Asante Manu of Upper Room Assembly of God.
It takes a great deal of sacrifice to get to bed early and to rise up early. The morning is the perfect time to pray. It gets you focused on God and helps you meditate on those you love and yourself
It doesn’t matter your denomination you can be part of this great special time of prayer. Early Morning Prayer is a spiritual discipline that is rooted in the Christian faith.
