(Joy News) The Presbyterian Church of Ghana has issued a strongly-worded disclaimer over its former Public Relations Officer Mr. Emmanuel Osei Akyeampong.
The statement, signed by the Clerk of the General Assembly of the Church, Rev. Dr. Samuel Ayete-Nyampong, alleges that Mr. Acheampong is out there to defame the church and its officers.
“He is making all attempts to personalize the issues and publish falsehood about individual officers of the church, who are only performing their official duties by virtue of their respective offices, a case in point is what happened on Adorn FM this morning, in which he had presented blatant lies about the Clerk and the Moderator of the General Assembly.”
Meanwhile, Acting PRO of the church, Rev. Lawyer George Obeng Agyei tells Joy News the Council terminated the appointment of its former public relations officer because of alleged fraudulent acts.
