The Christian Journal, Bronx NY – International Central Gospel Church celebrated its annual Friends and Family Day on Sunday August 12 at Bathgate Playgrounds.
Every year, the International Central Gospel Church, observes July, as its ‘Spiritual Emphasis Month’. During this period, members of the church all over the world, Fast, Pray and Seek the Face of God.
Spiritual Emphasis Month is a time of Renewal, Transformation and Empowerment.
They follow up the fasting period with a celebratory day, Friends and Family day of which they invite the community to celebrate with them
Gracing the occasion this year was New York State Senator G. Rivera, Council NYC council member R. Torres, NY State Assemblymember P.Pichardo, and Community Board 6 District Manager, Ms. Galarza.
Reverend Prince Nyarko the resident Pastor thanked the community for their support and the four Pharmacies that sponsored this event namely CSS Pharmacy located at 2043 Grand Concourse, Good Life Pharmacy located at 2366 Grand Concourse, GIG Pharmacy Located 3405 Jerome Avenue and Rite Health Pharmacy located 3885 Broadway in Manhattan.
