A catholic cleric on Wednesday night died in a road accident. Fr Thomas Muasa’s motorbike veered off the road on Kilala-Itangini Road during the 11pm incident.
Muasa sustained head and chest injuries. Police boss Joshua ole Leina said Muasa driving from Kilala Market to his Kaumoni parish home in Makueni district.
Leina asked drivers to exercise caution when driving, especially at night. He said that police have started investigations to establish the cause of the accident. The body was taken to Makueni Level 5 hospital mortuary and the motorcycle taken to Makueni Police Station.
