This Day – In commemoration of its 10th anniversary, Cool FM staged its annual Praise Jam which brought together fun seekers and revelers across Lagos for many years.
Last Christmas characteristically saw merry makers and lovers of gospel music converge under the convivial atmosphere of praise at the Expo Centre of Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos. The show which originally airs on Cool FM as an inspirational and informative programme every Sunday was taken a notch higher at the Christmas rendezvous. The Sunday programme runs from 6am with DJ Mordu, Freeze and Jibike leading various segments of the show.
But the outdoor rendezvous delivered much more as a galaxy of stars stormed the venue to thrill the staggering audience with famous and evergreen medleys. King of Comedy, Ali Baba was the anchor of the show that also brought on stage over 100-member choir of the Daystar Assembly, Lagos. The show featured songsters like Buchi, Tim Godfrey, Flo’Rocka from South Africa among a host of other great acts. It was a convergence of young persons, families and couples who desired a Christmas to remember.
And without gainsaying, it was one event with one of the biggest attendance since the inception of Eko Hotel and Suites. As more and more guests exited, it paved way for guests who sauntered in from both the VIP and regular entries.
The organisers of the show promise to bring a star gospel artiste from the US in the subsequent edition of the jamboree.
