Angola: Bishop Urges for Fighting Spirit of Inferiority

Luanda — The Angolans should serve as an example to the Africa in fighting the spirit of inferiority and disdain that still plagues many of its citizens, in order to put on an equal footing with other peoples of the world, said the bishop of Tocoist Church.

Afonso Nunes was speaking to the press, under the opening of celebrations of 17 April, 1935.

According to the church leader, the date marks the meeting between God and Prophet Simão Gonçalves Toco in Catete locality, Luanda”.

The church authority said that Africa needs to undergo a new revolution in term of conscience which helps bring an end to the spirit of inferiority still prevailing in its citizens and be aware that God makes no differences with any man.

The Tocoist Church was remembered on 25 July 1948 by prophet Simão Gonçalves Toco.
