The Christian Journal – The Baldwin University Foundation annual fundraising and Dinner Dance event was held on October 10, 2015 at the Freeport Yacht Club in Long Island.
In providing an opportunity for under privileged students in Africa and Ghana in general, the Foundation host a Fundraising event in the United States every year to raise funds to support the University programs.
The Foundation hopes to provide financial assistance such as scholarships and grants to cover tuition as well as books, accommodation, food, clothing and transportation for under privileged students in Africa.
A minute of silence was observed in remembrance of the former chairman of the Board Mr. Lloyd Lozanne who passed away.
This year’s event was well attended. Participants were treated to some traditional African performances.
