The Christian Journal, New York – Bishop Dr Peter Owusu Ansah author of Have Faith in God spoke with The Christian Journal Thursday September 5 before the launching his new book.
In an exclusive interview with TCJ in his office before the book was launched, Bishop confirmed that the purpose of the book is to strengthen the reader’s faith in God.
I think it’s all based on the Bible, quoting the scriptures Mark 4:38 and Matthew 8:26.
Mark 4:38 “And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awoke him, and said unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? Matthew 8:26 “Jesus replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was completely calm.
He further said the disciples at that time belittled the faith they themselves have and went to Jesus. Jesus told them you men of little faith, so whenever you have a problem don’t only think about the problem but also think about the solution and have faith in God as a Christian he will always see you through.
Jesus saw a problem but he was very much about the solution and used his faith to solve the problem. As Christians or Disciples of Christ we should learn from him. Now we can look at our individual situations, no matter how threatening it is, sometimes will even challenge our faith but let’s use whatever we have as Christians to get rid of that particular problem.
