Geroge Bright-Abu, Afrikan Post – Destiny Life International Church under the stewardship of Rev. and Mrs. Opoku Amoako celebrated their first anniversary in the last week of October with a week long program. Rev. Ransford Obeng , the Founder and leader of the Kumasi based Calvary Charismatic Church was on hand to bless the Church and the community with soul inspiring messages. Rev. Obeng, a pioneer in charismatic ministry capped his anniversary message preaching from the book of Ruth and spoke about commitment to the things of God. He enumerated three points alluding to Ruth’s commitment to Naomi. He said there is a need for commitment to God, the Church and the people of God.
The anniversary celebrations were from October 25th to Sunday the 27th, 2013. Rev. and Mrs Opoku Amoako hosted the entire congregation and visitors to a reception which was attended by other ministers who have been mentored by Rev. Ransford Obeng .
Frank Opoku-Amoako, affectionately called Pastor Frank, is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Destiny Life International Church, based in Manassas, Virginia, USA. He is also the Apostolic Overseer of Destiny Life International Churches and President of FOAM International (Frank Opoku-Amoako Ministries International) – a non-profit organization that manages his publications and international outreach and teaching ministries.
Pastor Frank is a host of a gospel program on Highlife radio which airs on Sunday evenings. Through that program he has touched a lot of lives and drawn a sizable congregation. The Church started with series of prayer meetings in the house of a couple and finally moved to a location in Manassas on 8785 Commerce Ct, Suite 201, Manassas, Virginia 20110.
According to Pastor Frank the vision of the church is to teach members “To know Christ and make HIM known to others” This is the path to Christian maturity and discipleship. Our primary role is to mature the people of God through His Word.

Destiny Life is a Full-Gospel, Spirit Filled Church with a mandate is to teach and train believers to live by faith and operate Kingdom principles in order to fulfill our individual Kingdom callings.
