For the Rev. Benjamin Boakye of Ebenezer Assembly of God church in the Bronx, 35 years in the ministry is a beautiful feeling. It ‘s a humbling experience to reach that level that God would even consider you in the first place and then to serve for that long is a milestone, it’s not something I take for granted or take lightly. I’m just grateful that people appreciate what God has done through me.” He said
He has preached at many special events, revivals and also has served as the president of the Ghanaian ministers’ fellowship in New York. Rev. Benjamin Boakye said during the past 35 years he has grown as a person and as a pastor.
“In the beginning, there was a lot of anxiety when it all started from high school in Ghana, and I think because when you first start it’s something like you need to save the whole world and you need to do it now.”
So after over 20 years of service to the Ebenezer Assembly of God and 35 years in ministry, the members of Ebenezer Assembly of God celebrated with Rev. Benjamin Boakye with exceptional service.

Rev. Benjamin Boakye said he is excited to see what the future holds at Ebenezer Assembly of God.
“I enjoy preaching the gospel; it’s been a great experience,” he said. “of course there have been ups and downs, but God have always seen him through.
