The Christian Journal, Brooklyn, New York – The word is good enough to show signs. Bishop Julius Abiola, General Overseer of the Christ Life Ministries, made the call at the opening of a four-day revival of the church at Brooklyn in New York.
The basic nature of a sign is that it points people to God. “Wonders” describe God’s supernatural activity, a special manifestation of His power.
Speaking on the second day of the revival, Guest speaker Abiola Idohu referencing Isaiah 8:18 “Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders”
Jesus did many miraculous signs and wonders. In fact, His very first miracle was turning water into wine at the wedding in Cana. These are miraculous signs and wonders, supernatural interventions of heaven into the ordinary course of events here on earth.
“He is the God who makes the impossible become possible! By the grace of God, all the things that seem impossible in your life will become possible in Jesus name. Amen”. Every sign, every wonder is attributed to Jesus Christ. Is off him we have received grace after grace.
“There are certain things that when God says He will do , you will be so overwhelmed wondering how God will make it happen but the bible tells us it is not by power nor by might but by the spirit of the Lord”.
