Ghana: Christians urged to live life worth emulating

GNA – Pastor S. B. Arloo, President of the East Ghana Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church has called on Christians to live a life worth emulating by all.

He said Christians should be the light of the world for people to see and emulate selflessness, peace and unity from them.

“Arise, shine and live Christ-like life for others to emulate,” he added.

Pastor Arloo was speaking at the Kade District of the East Ghana Conference celebration of the Church’s 125th anniversary at Akwatia.

He said if people would live upright lives, evil deeds such as murder, dishonesty, robbery and other crimes would be eradicated.

Mr Mohammed Ahmed Baba Jamal, Member of Parliament of Akwatia and Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development called on Ghanaians to sacrifice their strength towards the development of the nation.

Mr Reginald Aboagye Osae, Kwaebibirem District Chief Executive (DCE), urged the people in the district to participate in communal and other activities without expecting any financial reward.
