There are reports that the wife, daughter, and driver of Supreme Court Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour, were yesterday abducted by unknown gunmen in Edo state yesterday.
The victims were said to have been waylaid by the gunmen while on their way to Benin, the state capital.
According to reports, Rhodes-Vivour’s daughter was preparing for her wedding before the unfortunate incident happened.
The Edo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Moses Eguavoen, said he was unaware of the development.
“I am not aware of that. But let me call the control room and get back to you,” he said.
The family is said to be anxiously waiting to be contacted by the abductors in the hope that their loved ones will return home unhurt.
