The Christian Journal, Laurel Maryland – Jesus is Lord Crusades continues to evangelize and win souls for Jesus Christ with their Heart of Jesus Conference. March 6–8 marked the second Heart of Jesus Conference in Maryland, and Agape Life Ministries was alive with excitement.
From the first moment of majestic praise and worship with Evangel Ensemble, from Evangel Cathedral, it was apparent that the conference would be memorable.
Bishop Don Meares the guest speaker on the first day received an enthusiastic greeting as he addressed audience. He said the primary purpose and goal for this conference is to empower believers to do what God called them to do. He further said most statistics will tell you that most Christian never share their faith. He encouraged the attendees to do so and spread the gospel.
The second day saw Apostle Simon Hlalele from South Africa who gave an explosive sermon.
Each evening began with a strong evangelization appeal from Scripture.
“Life without Jesus is empty,” said one of the attendees. Throughout the crusade one could tell people were just excited to be there.
