THE STAR – Catholic members of parliament over the weekend left the country for Italy for a workshop.

Vice chairman Chris Wamalwa told the star on phone before leaving the country that his team will also visit catholic pope Francis at Rome during the visit.

The aim of the visit Wamalwa said is to learn on how to promote Christian values while discharging their work as politicians.

“We will be meeting all catholic members of parliament worldwide, because as much as we do politics, we should ensure our politics go together with what God wants us to do” said Wamalwa.

Wamalwa recently took over the position from from Naivasha MP John Mututho as the vice chair of the association of catholic members of parliament.
