New Democrat, Monrovia – Residents of Sinkor’s Lakpazee neighborhood may now sleep sound and their children may also be saved from mysterious deaths after a miracle healer yesterday discovered the bizarre spectacle of a “demonic snake with a human head in a pot filled with a fresh human heart.” The scene was one of drama and shocks as “Prophet” Jonah Howard of the Miracle Healing church on Bushord Island performed his religious wonder at the behest of locals who complained of being “suppressed through demonic forces.”
“I got a call few days ago from a lady who told me that a snake normally brother them in the day and night,” the miracle priest told the New Democrat yesterday. When he drove to the place, he said, he declared four days of fast and prayers. “The moment I entered the area, the Holy Spirit told me that the snake was in the ceiling and it was not an ordinary snake but rather a demonic one,” he disclosed. According to him, the snake was “in the spiritual realm as one with a human head surrounded by a blazing fire.” Claiming to be preaching since 2001, he said he also discovered “a traditional pot containing fresh human heart sitting under a nearby plum tree.” Dozens of residents were seeing screaming with fear as the “demonic pot” was being unearthed from the ground and displayed for public view. In the process, Howard later fell off due to what he referred to as an attack from opposing forces. “Holy ghost fire, Holy ghost fire, Holy ghost fire,” were the shouts from residents yesterday as the “prophet” sat on the floor calling for a spiritual help. A missing mobile phone and some unspecified Liberian dollars along with a red rope and “country beans” were discovered during the period of deliverance. Residents, who spoke to our reporter complained that they have been suffering from sleepless nights for months due to what they described as “unpleasing sounds during night hours.” “We hardly sleep during the night; and there has been no improvement in our daily lives,” an elderly woman only identified as Parmou, a resident, told the New Democrat.
She also confirmed the mysterious death of a popular female resident several months ago. “Our children continue to get sick and are dying in our hands,” another resident cried. “We thank God so much for exposing the enemies. They have failed in Jesus’ name.” Asked how they came in contact with the cleric, Madam Parmou replied “It was only God and that of my cousin who give me his number and I called him.” She denied paying the man money and the man said, “I never asked her for a dime and I don’t accept money for these kinds of job.” Resident stood in long queues trying to get Mr Howard’s telephone number, promising to invite him to their communities. Following hours of discovery, the strange items were later placed in the front yard of the community and set ablaze with the residents chanting “hosanna, hosanna.”
