More than Conquerors Conference

Bishop Allotey @ Living Faith

Under the bright light of the newly renovated Living Faith International Church, Bishop Dominic Allotey started the More than Conquerors Conference with a powerful teaching. In his message he stressed on false prophets and warned the attendants to be careful. Referencing Bar Jesus who was confronted by Paul and cursed by him. This false prophet is generally thought to have been syncretistic and virtually pagan in his magical practices. He was a threat to the Christian community of Paphos and may even have belonged inside of it. Luke regards him as a serious threat to the faith because of his false teaching.
“Many shall come in my name . . .”
Jesus warns us: “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many” The Bishop warned.
Being good is not enough. We want to become like the Lord, who learned as He suffered “pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind.
He further stressed that many times a particular challenge helps prepare us for something vitally important in our life. Many trials and temptations are part of our existence as Christians to test our faith. As Christ time on earth came to a close, He experienced the most difficult trial of all time.
Sometimes we want our lives to be smooth without challenges and to develop strength without any struggle. But growth cannot come by taking the easy way.
But these trials are not just to test us. They are vitally important to the process of putting on the divine nature.
Apostle General Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah of Royal House Chapel International on the third day of the conference, followed with a powerful sermon. He said sometimes as Christians, we face trials, and tribulations, and some of the trials we face in life can be excruciating.
Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah said: “No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted. All that we suffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it patiently, builds up our characters, purifies our hearts, expands our souls, and makes us strong in our Christian faith.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, so shall he will reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose faith.
He prayed for those that sowed their seed offering. Please pray that the seeds sown this day will spring forth into new life.
In attendance at the Communion service Sunday was Bishop Nathan Edwards (Friendship Worship Center, Mount Vernon NY)
The favorite line of the convention comes from the conference host and founder of Living faith International Church, Bishop Dominic Allotey, who summed up the conference theme, “There is a lifting up!” to the attendants waving white handkerchiefs “yes there is a lifting up”
