Nigeria: Christian Group Holds Reconciliatory Meeting in Zaria

Daily Trust, Zaria — Members of the Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN) yesterday held a reconciliatory meeting in Zaria, where the two disputing blocs agreed to bury their differences for unity and peace.

Chairman of CPFN/PFN bloc of Kaduna State Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Dr. Amb. Shola Olatunbosun, described the reconciliatory meeting as a success over Satan.

“The purpose of our gathering is well known and it is long overdue. For the purpose of emphasis, it is to put an end to the maverick of the enemy of love and I am delighted with this atmosphere.

The unfortunate event started during the most unexpected period of our glory, a time that the headship of our mother body, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kaduna State chapter, was zoned to us for the very first time in the history of our membership. While we were basking in that euphoria of honour, the enemy located our guard and hit us below the belt, bringing suspicion and disharmony into our bounded brotherhood. This shameful occurrence has caused us varying degrees of injuries. It is high time we stopped washing our dirty linens in public,” he said.
