By Richard Owusu-Akyaw,Kumasi – Born-again hip life musician Evangelist Lord Kenya has healed a 16-year-old girl who has been suffering from epilepsy and chronic stomach illness over the years.
The epileptic patient, Ruth Agyakum, was healed by Lord Kenya, when he passed by the Kumasi-based Nhyira FM to leave some stickers and handbills in connection with his three year celebration into Christianity.
The mother of the girl, Madam Helena Nkrumah, disclosed to this paper that her daughter had been battling with chronic stomach illness, hence undergoing an operation three and half months ago, but her situation got worse.
According to Mad Nkrumah, her daughter’s condition got worse as she was suddenly afflicted with epilepsy and a host of other illness. She confessed to The Chronicle that her daughter was as fit as ever now, after the encounter with Evangelist Lord Kenya, and therefore, back to normal life.
Evangelist Kenya confirmed the feat in a telephone conversation, and said when he got to Nhyira FM on the day in question, he found Ruth on the lap of her mother, and was told Ruth was ill and could not talk.
Ruth was said to have been pacified as “Sraha”, and was the subject of discussion on air at Nhyira FM when the Evangelist got there. “I asked for water, but since it was not available, I went to my car and brought water. After praying for her, I sprinkled the water on her and she got healed of her ailment,” Lord Kenya told The Chronicle, saying “It is by the power and the mercy of our Creator that led to Ruth’s freedom from spiritual bondage.”
