Daily Trust, Yola — The Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) has tasked President Goodluck Jonathan and other relevant stakeholders on the need to tackle security challenges in the country.
Speaking at press briefing marking the 100 years anniversary of the church, the LCCN bishop Rt Reverend Irmiya Taduggoromo noted that no meaningful progress can be achieved in an atmosphere of chaos. He said there was need to promote peace and harmony among the diverse people of Nigeria in view of the current social unrest that is threatening the unity of the country. The bishop further stressed that LCCN would continue to remind the country’s political leaders as well as the citizenry of their responsibilities.
