THIS DAY – President Goodluck Jonathan and the Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Olajumoke Akinjide, are to lead thousands of Nigerian Christian pilgrims to Jerusalem, Israel later in the year.
Akinjide, according to an online medium, Emperor Newspaper, who hosted a delegation of Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) led by its Executive Secretary, John Kennedy Opara, in her office, Tuesday, also disclosed that 1,500 Christian pilgrims would be airlifted by the FCT Administration to Israel for this year’s pilgrimage.
She noted that the administration had approved a land for the construction of a permanent Christian Pilgrims Camp in order to cope with the increasing number of people that would be going to Israel for the pilgrimage.
