Royalhouse Chapel New York Mission (WMG) donated items to victim of fire outbreak via the Assemblyman Hon. Victor M. Pichardo of District 86.
Nicole the chief of staff who received the donations on behalf of the assemblyman in an interview with the Christian Journal said “This was third fire in the district that have displaced residents from their homes, and this is the first organization that have come together to donate and help these victims. This is such a show of support from the community. These tragedies affects everyone in the community not just the people who are displaced.
It could happen to anyone any moment. Knowing that people from the community are aware that the need and desire to support others is extremely important.
Their office have been doing fire alarm events with FDNY and the Red Cross to alert people of the dangers of fire and smoke to avoid these in the future. They are trying to keep the community abreast of these information so that it doesn’t happen again. But if it does, this act of kindness shines above all the rest . They have set an example for the community. She hope this kind gesture and generosity will encourage the community.
Nicole read a statement from the assemblyman who was currently in Albany “On behalf of Assemblyman Richard Pichardo in the west Bronx neighbor helps neighbor in times of need, I want to thank Royalhouse Chapel for helping the neighbors that were directly impacted by this tragedy. ”
Rev. Joe Twum Major Retired, the senior Pastor in an interview said “as a church we don’t have to affect our community with the word of God alone, but with our substance as the book of James teaches us.
