Another Ghanaian owned pharmacy to be opened in the Bronx, New York.

RX Solutions Pharmacy , a Ghanaian owned pharmacy is to be opened  on Saturday March 24 2018.  The pharmacy’s joint owners, Cynthia Osei, and Mr. Samuel Obeng, have been working for several months to get the new store ready. The new pharmacy is located at 2 East 167 Street in the Bronx in New York.

Breaking the news, Mr. Obeng told the Christian Journal that customers wouldn’t just get their prescriptions at RX Solutions Pharmacy, they will also get good customer service.  “I think we have a niche.  “It’s more trying to be recognized for what we do than where we are,” he said.

The pharmacy, which is a full-service retail pharmacy, will accept Medicaid, Medicare, OTC Network and all major insurance. The pharmacy, which has added free deliveries to its stock, will be opened at 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Mr. Samuel Obeng a Ghanaian entrepreneur with four other Pharmacies in the Bronx, says their aim is to help meet the health needs of the Bronx Community and the Ghanaian community in general.  The four other stores are the CSS Pharmacy and Good Life Pharmacies on Grand Concourse Avenue, GIG Pharmacy on Jerome Avenue and Rite Health Pharmacy on Broadway in Manhattan.

The program includes free giveaways with such items as tote bags, snacks, goodies bags, and a raffle.  The contact number for the new store, which is opposite Eddie African Market, is 347-963-9700.
