Tunis — “Tunisia is a country neither for Jihad nor for preaching,” reads a statement of principle released on Monday by the Arab Observatory for Religions and Liberties (AORL).
Preaching a discourse about violence and anathema in society is a pure invention of the Wahhabite doctrine and religious fundamentalism which are not common to the Tunisian thought and Tunisia’s history, the statement adds.
