At 7:49 p.m., Romeoville police responded to a single-vehicle crash near Bluff Road west of Joliet Road, according to a statement from police. A 2001 Mazda, driven by a 25-year-old Romeoville woman, was involved in the incident.
The vehicle was near 1400 Bluff Road when it “left the roadway and came to rest in a retention pond,” police said. No details regarding why the vehicle left the road were immediately available.
