The Christian Journal, Bronx NY – The church celebrated their 3rd anniversary from July 11th – July 13th 2014 in the Bronx. On Friday the 11th of July the celebrations began with an all-night service with guest speakers Pastor Dele Bamgboye of Winners Chapel Int. U.S.A and Rev. Alexander Adu-Gyamfi of Bible Believers Tabernacle (BBT) as the speakers for the night.
On Saturday, the service was held at House of Joy 1240 Edward Grant Hwy. Prophet Doug Mohr, the president of House of fire Ministries ministered under a powerful prophetic unction. On Sunday, the climax of the anniversary, the night began with the ministration of Pastor Joshua Porter , the local crusade director of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke Gospel Crusade. Followed by Pastor Dele Bamgboye the main speaker, took the stage with a heavy unction and delivered the word of God with power. He taught with great wisdom and insight that fired the congregation to a greater dimension of faith. He also ordained some leaders of the ministry.
The individuals are as follows: Bro. Jonathan Kwaku-tsey Bleboo to Minister, Bro. Francis Segbefia to Deacon, Sister Princess Semekor to Deaconess and sis Esther Achieng to Deaconess.
The church which was founded three years ago by Pastor Tim Godwins. The journey according to him has been effortless because he believes the caller is faithful, who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24.
“From the beginning of this year, God has engraced us and has doubled us. My heart is full of thanksgiving for the goodness of the Lord towards us. Planting and watering does not necessarily bring increase but God is the one who brings increase. God has done many miracles among us, notable being the healing of a young girl (Stacy) with a chronic skin disease that lasted for 4years. Another brother’s heart condition has been perfected among others.” He said
Many are finding their life purpose, many are receiving their joy back, many are living victoriously over sin but a few to mention. The church meets at 1806 Archer street in Parkchester Bronx, the service time is from 4:00pm – 6:30pm. All is welcome to join this winning family of God.
