Churches should make an impact on the nation – Dr. Amoani

Aps Dr Stephen Kwame AmoaniGhana News Agency – The Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI), Apostle Dr. Stephen Kwame Amoani, has appealed to Christians to use their talents and Christian virtues to make a positive impact on the nation.

He said Christians had virtues that could help build the nation if properly used, and urged members to make the needed impact for the growth of the nation.

‘We should all help our leaders to meaningfully manage the numerous resources that abound in the country for the betterment of all as the leaders cannot do it alone,’ he said.

Apostle Amoani was addressing the Kwesimintsim Area Easter Convention of the CACI at Agona Nkwanta near Takoradi, on the theme: ‘Arise and Shine Forth’.

Speaking on the sub theme: ‘Called To Make an Impact;’ Apostle Amoani said the Church could be used as an instrument of change that Ghana is yearning for in its developmental process if members lead Christ-like lives as an example from Christ.

‘Let the Church, therefore, become an instrument for growth and development’, Apostle Amoani said, adding that the nation had gone through so many challenges over the years and it was about time, ‘We as the people offer what we have, to make the impact that we all require’.

‘Let your light shine among men and allow God to use you to achieve a successful national development’ he said, and appealed to Christians to start from the family, community and the wider society to make an impact.

Rev. George A. Mensah, the Kwesimintsin Area Head of CACI, appealed to members to continuously pray for the nation.
