Holiness is the Lord’s Ministry supports Kumasi Children’s Home

Donation-6By Joseph Kyei-Boateng, Daily Graphic – KUMASI THE Church of Holiness is the Lord’s Ministry based at Buokrom in Kumasi has presented some items valued at GH¢600.00 to the Kumasi Children’s Home to support livelihood at the home.

The items included two cartons of milo, two boxes of lactogen, a box of pampers, a bag of rice, a gallon of cooking oil, two boxes of children and a box of toilet roll. The presentation is a monthly ritual of the church to support the Social Welfare Department in the empowerment of the less privileged in the society.

The Leader of the Church, Mr Isaac Addo Baffour who presented the items to the home said the act of giving and supporting the needy in society was biblical. He said apart from the spiritual connotation, the presentation forms part of the social responsibility of the church as a non-governmental organisation (NGO) to support the socio-economic development of the country. He noted that government could not do it alone and that called on other churches, individuals and organisations to support the home.

The Officer In-Charge at the home, Mrs Mabel Afua expressed gratitude to the church for the presentation and asked for the Lord’s blessings for the church. PICTURE .
