Kenya: Prophet Owuor Lands At JKIA On Board Presidential Jet

The Star – Owuor had gone for a week’s mission in Congo Brazzaville during which Nguesso gave his life to Jesus Christ. The prophet was also given a red carpet welcome only reserved for high ranking government officials.

He even used the VIP lounge reserved for Presidents. Owuor, who heads the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness, was expected to arrive at 4pm but his flight was delayed as Airport security had to create space to accommodate the jet.

He landed a few minutes before 7pm with Congo Ambassador Me Ossey. Owuor was welcomed by 16 bishops from Nairobi, overseers, pastors and the entire congregation of the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness.

Addressing his followers shortly after he arrived, the prophet said though he is well known for preaching harsh messages, it is the prophecy given to him by the Almighty God.

Owuor said the Lord has instructed him to preach against corruption, hypocrisy, sexual sins and call people to repentance. He said many peoplereceived Jesus as their saviour at the major crusade held outside Congo’s Parliament building.

“I can assure you the Lord showed himself to the people of Brazzaville. The dumb spoke, the lame walked and the deaf received their hearing,” Owuor said.

The prophet said after witnessing the miracles President Nguessou decided to give him VIP treatment including his motorcade during the seven-day mission.

“The people of Brazzaville have taught me how to appreciate servants of God. As you can see he even gave me his official presidential jet accompanied by ambassador Me Ossey to escort me home,”Owuor said.

He said Nguesso invited him to address Parliament. Owour said Kenya will only receive healing and reconciliation people heed to the message of the Lord.

“It is high time the people of Kenya took seriously not only the servants of God but also his word for this word can forgive, heal and reconcile”, he said.

Pastor Aurelia Wambui said the congregation went to the airport at 12pm and prayed and sang praise for seven hours before Owuor finally arrived at 7pm.

The use of Nguesso’s jet may raise eyebrows for the prophet who preaches holiness with anti corruption calls being one of his teachings. Nguesso has been accused of massive corruption and impoverishing his country with his lavish tastes.

He is said to own 16 of the most luxurious houses and flats in Paris, France. Transparency International and Sherpa say Denis Nguesso has created property empires using public funds and foreign aid.

His family is said to have 112 bank accounts and various sports cars despite the fact that 70 per cent of Congo lives on less than a dollar a day. According to a report on www.mycontinent.co, Nguesso has more interest in his appearance and his suits than in the economy of his country.

“The French anti-money laundering authority, which declared that in April 2010, he ordered 91 suits from Pape for €276,000 (Sh33 million). A month earlier, in March 2010, he had bought 48 shirts for €24,000 (Sh2.8 million). In one year, in the 12 months from November 2009, Sassou N’Guesso spent more than €652,000 (Sh77 million) on clothes there. According to the investigative journalists Hofnung and Harel.”
