Ordination at Calvary Deliverance Christian Assembly

Ordination @ CDCAThe Christian Journal, Bronx, NY – Calvary Deliverance Christian Assembly ordained eight of their members as Pastors and Elders. The eight ordained were Pastors: Joseph Opoku Oware and Alex Afriyie. Elders: Anthony Duah, Elizabeth Togbe, Elizabeth Anti Ampratwum, Kwadwo Anti Ampratwum, Thomas Osei and Kurtle Hendrickson.
The service started with Rev. Alex Gyan-Benneh who led with the opening prayer followed by a song by the congregation “To God be the glory” and a solo from Sister Yvonne Thomas.
In her sermon, Rev Francine Freed said by his stripes we are healed. The word stripes what it means in Hebrew is to fellowship. All you need is to fellowship with God.

Whatever God called you to do as a leader, you are called to serve. As leader you have to be bold and make decision based on your faith. Be a stepping stone not a stumbling block.
Speak to one issue at a time. Don’t be sarcastic. People will be more open to you when you do that, don’t apologize to the right things you say.
Always build people us; the world needs leaders who lead themselves successfully. Winners never quite and winners never give up.
As a leader you must care for people. Be the kind of a leader who is a good listener. Listen to their heart. Be a model for people.
Each one of you has influence in somebody’s life. Be a good role model.

Welcoming the seven members, Bishop Peter Owusu Ansah the founder and general overseer of Calvary Deliverance Christian Assembly, described it as an occasion of “a great joy in the church’s history”. He said these men have proof themselves as leaders to be a vessel of God. He said these people might have had some past experiences, but we should not let our past interfere with our expections.
Peter Owusu Ansah led the ordination assisted by Prophetess Dr Theresa Owusu Ansah, Rev Francine Freed and Apostle Emmanuel Baah, also in attendance were host of ministers.

Members of the Calvary Deliverance Christian Assembly were in full attendance, relatives and friends were present for the service. Apostle Emmanuel Baah gave the closing benediction. There was a luncheon after the ordination.
