I mean, people invest good money into failing others; they invest time and emotions and sacrifice their own peace and happiness at the altar of seeing the downfall or death of another. And meanwhile, this person whose God is the Lord is sound asleep as his or her God wages war on his or her behalf. Isn’t that beautiful?
In his booklet Delivered From the Powers of Darkness, Nigerian Emmanuel Eni talks of his days as a devil worshipper. How he would be sent on spiritual errands to destroy believers, and how this one family that was worshipping God made him question every power the devil had ever boasted about.
That as the family worshipped in their home, Eni, then a powerful satanist who had been sent to cause them calamity, was met with a fierce ring of angels around that home and no matter how he tried and whichever form he transformed into, he could not penetrate the angels’ protective wall. It was not long before he chose to join the clearly winning side, by giving his life to Jesus Christ.
The same applies to witches and wizards; I wonder how frustrating it must be, dedicating time to destroy a child of God, yet this person just calls on the name of Jesus and all your charms and spells become as nothing. Or where one sacrificed cows, goats, even innocent children for wealth, and a child of God goes on his or her knees and applies the Word of God, and voila, it is done.
The winning side is clear. Sometimes it may even appear like the long-winding route, but it has sure-fire, long-lasting results compared to the seemingly easy route of the devil, that ends up costing you everything you held dear, yet the results are but for a while.
It must be frustrating fighting against someone who has the Almighty God fighting on their side; one who has Jesus Christ living inside him or her…
