Zimbabwe: Another Gospel Channel On the Cards

map_of_zambiaThe Herald – Kingdom Embassy Ministries, led by Prophet Passion Java, is set to launch a 24-hour television channel called Kingdom Television (KTV) on November 21. KTV director Valentine Takawira said their aim was to preach the word of God to many nations since the aim of the church is to win more souls to God.

“Our aim for coming up with such a project is to minister the word of God to all nations considering television is a fast mode of evangelising,” he said.

The free-to-air channel, which is currently on a test run, is expected to rock the airwaves as it will be carrying different programmes that cater for all age groups.

“It will be featuring sermons from the host preacher Prophet Passion, other renowned local and international preachers like T. D. Jakes, Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen.

“Other programmes to look forward to include cartoons, music and epic movies,” he added.

The gospel channel frequency is 12.722, symbol rate 26.657 while the polarisation is horizontal.

Prophet Passion and Prophetess Yasmin Java are one of the youngest couples in ministry.

Kingdom Embassy was founded on January 1 2012 and will be celebrating its second anniversary next year.

Prophet Passion says he started having divine encounters when he was still at primary school.

The 26-year-old preacher is brother to renowned evangelist Apostle Batsirai Java who leads Tabernacle of Grace. Kingdom TV becomes the latest gospel channel in the country to broadcast on free to air decoders. Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa’s Christ TV which was launched last month.

Other established channels are Ezekiel TV, that is run by Apostle Ezekiel Guti of Zaoga FIF and Miracle TV by Prophet Uebert Angel.
