A Banquet fits for Royals by Royals

The Christian Journal – It was dubbed Banquet with the King, and members of the Royalhouse Chapel International, New Jersey Mission did give the king a befitting present that will linger for such a long time until their path crosses next year. The night itself was lit with glitz, glamour, music and great dancing, as the members swapped their bibles and related tools with that of high heel and flat shoes, suits and a little touch of blings, as they dined and wined on the night. The dress code for was on point, with most of them nicely dressed in suits with marching colours.

The event, an annual feast organized by the various branches of the church, provides an opportunity for members to interact in an environment not unique to the weekly ritual of preaching the gospel. It was also to recognize the efforts of those whose efforts in the course of the year continue to sustain the church’s growth. It was clear from the onset nobody was in the mood to go home without sharing in the joy, so when right after the meal had been finished and the high table took to the dance floor, the rest followed. Rev. Hazel Bediako and her entourage were the first to hit the dance floor and she did not spare a minute, as she worked her feet with some great dance moves. As good as she’s always been preaching the gospel, she showed another side of her; dancing. Soon the rest of the members joined in and hits after hits kept them on dancing until the intervention of the two main masters of ceremony for the night.
There were various activities for the night which members participated in; dancing competition for couples, singles and the slightly older generation in the church. Competitors put out great performance and winners were adequately rewarded. There was a night for two for two separate couples who were tied in the competition.
Later in an interview with The Christian Journal, some members expressed gratitude to the Lord for how far he has brought them, and also affirmed their commitment to remain in the vineyard.
They were equally grateful to the church for the platform to interact with each other, light their heads down without looking over their shoulders.
