They started arriving in Nakuru on Friday evening to attend the two days crusade. Security remained tight at the venue . Public service transport operators reported good business on the two days. Traders in the the hospitality sector especially food vendors and those who offer accomodation services too “It has been a very good three days. They started arriving on Thursday and since then, we have been completely booked,” Anne Wanja ,a trader said.
The worshippers braved the cold and rainy weather conditions to camp at the crusade grounds singing praise and worship hyms and gospel songs. Hoteliers in the town estimated the twon hosted close to 100,000 visitors at the weekend .The number also got a boost from participants in the ongoing schools and colleges national music festivals.
Meanwhile, faithfuls of the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness who refer to Dr Owuor as Prophet of God testified of miraculous healings during the crusade with tens of people claiming to have been healed of various health ailments.
Several people claimed to have been healed of HIV/Aids and various physical disabilities including blindness.
Claims of the miraculous healings sent shouts throughout the stadium as thousands more people who were camping outside the stadium after the facility was filled to capacity struggled to get a glimpse of the miraculous happenings.
