Nigeria: Danjuma Decries Marginalisation of Northern Christians

Kaduna — Former Minister of Defence, Lt. General Theophilus Danjuma (rtd.) on Saturday condemned the manner in which northern Christians were always humiliated and disgrace out of public offices for no just cause.

Speaking at the 64th graduation ceremony of Baptist Theological Seminary, Kaduna, Danjuma said Christians in the north have continued to suffer so much marginalisation, economically and politically.

Danjuma who was represented by an aide, Mr. John Dara said the North must carry every section along, stressing that the way forward was for the people of the region to unite and speak with one voice to achieve progress and development.

He called on the graduating students to be of good character and be ambassadors of peace wherever they may find themselves.
