Orange, NJ (The Christian Journal) The 2013 Tri-State Greater Works Conference took off powerfully with a mighty praise victory shout unto the Lord for his grace, goodness and mercy and for how far he has brought ICGC North America. The Conference brought together ICGC from the Tristate are of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
The Music groups from various churches embody the spirit of ICGC Gospel music. Their harmonious songs of love, hope & inspiration will touch the depths of your soul, lift your spirit and take your breath away.
The host Pastor Seth Kpodo of ICGC Liberty Center, Orange New Jersey, in his sermon, he revealed to the attendants in order to arise and possess your land, you must see yourself as God sees you. All of the “we are not able “must die out of our thinking and believing. It must be replace with, “we are well able “for the Lord is us. He further stressed that, to possess your promised land, you must be more convinced of the reality of God’s promise to you than of the circumstances that would prevent you from entering in. Finally he said that to possess your promised land, you must take a step of faith, fully obey the instructions of the Lord and give him a mighty praise victory shout for your promised land.
Rev. Prince Nyarko on the second day also came out strong emphasizing on the vision of the founder Rev. Dr. Mensah Otabil. The Vision still lives on. He told the attendant not to lose sight of the vision that brought about the church. Raising Leaders, Shaping Vision and Influencing Society through Christ.
Rev Emmanuel Owusu Kyereko on the closing day of the conference spoke about how many have wondered why we must face difficult challenges in life. But these trials are not just to test us. These challenges are part of the process of putting our faith to test. If we handle these afflictions properly, they will be consecrated for our gain. Referencing to Psalm 23 with line shadows of death that God will always come through in times of difficulties. We should always have faith and patiently wait on the Lord.
