Liberia: Prelate Urges Christians Not to Lose Hope

The Informer, Monrovia -A renowned Liberian clergyman is calling on Christians throughout the country to put their trust in the Lord for success in whatever they do as long as they continue to live.

Bishop Dr. Michael A Cooper, General Overseer of the Faith and Victory Church and Chairman and Founder of the Christian Theological Seminary on Jamaica Road made the call during a sermon he delivered recently.

Preaching on the theme, “Just Trust and Obey,” Bishop Dr. Cooper urged Christians not to do those things that will destroy their lives while serving God, but they should remain faithful and trustworthy in the sight of God at all times.

In his words of encouragement, Bishop Cooper admonished Christians to do away with things that continue to create problems and embarrassment to the church and communities in which they live as people of God.

He said Christians should continue to put God first in whatever problem they are going through for mercy and His blessings will be poured upon them.

Bishop Cooper pointed out that there are people who try to hunt down others for what he referred to as hatred and greed in the church and other places.

The man of God told Christians who are faithful to put their faith in God and trust in him for them to overcome whatever problem they are facing.

Bishop Cooper then reiterated his call to members of the Faith and victory Church to continue following the Gospel of the Lord for His blessing and Mercy upon them.
